mesh under suit build
i picked up some mesh material today to use for my mesh under suit that holds the kanekalon hair.
i thought i should start with the pants first because, i've never sewed up full pants from this material before and i though it might be the easiest to start with. i made the pant patterns and started to cut them out.
this twill tape that you can buy at wall mart helps keep the sew together.
the sewing is another skill and another long story.
i started the latch hooking and it seems a little difficult and it kind was, trying to figure it out and all. but as i got the hang of it, it started to go a little faster.
one by one, inch by inch.
started on the feet and shins, just incase i f#@k up! so far, so good though!

almost fett
a lil'while back i picked up some ccm supra sp 420 hockey shoulder pads and i knew these would come in handy with some shoulder size so started out with a set of these ccm armors, duct tape some cushion foam to make a nice mounting spot for the speaker.
yow!
it was cool looking at the result because it all ended up looking like mandalorian armors with all the looks, shapes, colors and all.
420 kwool!

hello Big feet.
worked on Chewies feet today!, figured out how to put his toes on!, i asked chewie changa for some!., no pics yet but, here is a reference pic that inspires me.
after days of practice walking with the walking stilts on, i found it to be a bit difficult to walk around with the stock bottoms so, after doing some research i found if the soles were wider it would be easier to walk, run, and jump also.
what i decided to go with was to make the walking stilts a bit more stable, i built some wider feet using cardboard box wrapped in duct tape, and to hold together the soles using 'Great Stuff' insulating foam.
just some good drying time and so far, so good!,
this is some foam seat cushions you can pick up at wall mart.
i used some foam seat cushions to create the leg walls around the springs of the walking stilts.
i used duct tape to hold down the foam cushions while i wrapped and align the leg walls.
then i wrapped up all the foam with duct tape to give it a harder but functional skin.
i picked up some easy car mats to use for my under soles, easy $3.00 kicks!
i cut then fit the mat under the feet
looks like these are gonna be just fine in all weather. now i need my wookiee toes!
